ZARGES aircraft passenger stairs in the '50s
Please board the aircraft! In the '50s and '60s, ZARGES brought elegant-looking aircraft passenger stairs to the market. Aluminium presented itself as a lighter, more robust and more corrosion-resistant material for this purpose. This not only allowed the ZARGES logo to be seen throughout the world, but also gave rise to long-standing cooperation between ZARGES, and airlines and airport operators. ZARGES benefitted from the growing flight traffic at that time and was able to occupy a secure market position as a supplier. Today, the market is again experiencing a new dynamic – for ZARGES, in part through the merger with the company ZACHER GmbH.
