The new Skymaster Plus X, part of the best-selling Skymaster™ range, provides a versatile and safe solution to working at height and is the only product in the UK to provide safer step treads on the top sections of the ladder – providing ultimate user comfort.
Available in a range of four sizes, from 3 x 8 rungs, up to 3 x 14 rungs, it offers a truly multi-functional solution as it can be used as a single, double or triple extension ladder, as well as an A-Frame or freestanding ladder – maximising the product’s usability.
Certified to the latest EN131 professional safety standard, the Skymaster Plus X has been designed and manufactured with users in mind, utilising safer step treads on the top section of the ladder to provide a comfortable and safe solution. Its unique design also eliminates the need to invest in separate pieces of access equipment, guaranteeing optimum functionality to users across a variety of trade sectors, no matter the job.
Simple to use, the height adjustment can be easily achieved by releasing the unique rung lock system, with an angle finder to help safely position the ladder when in extension mode. A horizontal stabiliser bar is fitted with plastic end caps that ensure stability and non-slip performance, with the top section of the ladder featuring treads to maximise safety and grip. In addition, the upper ladder is equipped with top wheel assembly for larger sizes, which allows for a quick and smooth extension when used against a wall.

With a weight rating of 150kg, including user and materials, the Skymaster Plus X frame is supported by two rigid locking bars, which helps to keep the A-frame firmly stable when in use, as well as additional high strength anti-splay Perlon straps for extra security. The lightweight yet durable aluminium frame is corrosion-free, guaranteeing durability and longevity, with wheels at the both the top of the ladder and in the stab bar for maximum convenience.
