Weilheim, Germany, 20 June 2018 – ZARGES, an expert in access, packaging and transportation, presents an updated version of its tried-and-tested MPO modular nursing and organisation trolleys. The user-friendly trolleys can be used in different kinds of situations, for example as nursing, medication, anaesthetic, emergency or workstation trolleys. The new generation of trolleys can be customised to a specific application in a few simple steps – without the need for any tools. This has the advantage that customers are able to easily configure the trolleys to their needs by installing or replacing accessories on their own.
Previously, users only had the option of installing accessories on the housing to modify their MPO trolleys for different applications. The new design introduces further improvements in terms of ergonomics and hygiene. The product's handling has been optimised and it can now be cleaned more easily – for example, thanks to its removable worktop. Furthermore, customers can install different accessories without using any tools, allowing them to easily modify the trolleys without incurring extra costs. Besides the optimal combination of functionality, handling and simple, modern design, the product developers at ZARGES also placed special emphasis on ensuring that the solution is compatible with the standard ISO modular system for hospital logistics.
Application-oriented design to benefit the customer
The fittings on every MPO trolley can be freely configured: base models of various sizes can be combined with a wide variety of drawers and roller shutters. In addition, the interior of the trolleys can also be fitted with special ZARGES modular baskets. "During the product’s development, the Product Management department, Development department and Sales department worked together very closely," says Erkan Soytürk, ZARGES Medical Product Manager. "The result of the intensive effort to maximise customer benefits is an intelligent modular system with internationally accepted design. The underlying principle: to make it possible to create a large number of variants and configurations from a manageable number of standard models."
